The Race
There is no need for age,
To make someone a sage.
The wise do not refute it.
The older you grow,
The more you know,
The less you can dispute it.
Life does not portend,
Or days in life depend
When purpose is peace.
Who is there to say,
You live your life today
Fold time back in crease?
The facts are fine,
If you can define
The points that linger.
The balance seeds life;
Survival avoids strife.
No one points a finger.
Prophet of this age,
Dogs rabid without rage,
Seek ways to another place.
Yield wealth in escrow,
Money with you won't go.
Not a part of the inane race.
